Manav's story starts much like yours - full of dreams, uncertainty, and the desire to build a better life. In 2014 he arrived in Canada as an international student, carrying both the excitement and the anxiety of starting fresh in a new country.
Every dollar felt like a lifeline. He learned quickly how much financial management matters when you are new here, and he understood the weight behind each decision - a journey a great many people in this community share.
Numbers always made sense to Manav, even when nothing else did. Volunteering at tax clinics during his studies, he noticed how many low-income immigrants were missing out on government benefits for no better reason than that nobody had filed their return properly. That was where the purpose arrived: make tax filing accessible, and make it pay.
After earning his CPA in the United States, he came back to Canada with a single mission - to make filing easier, more transparent and more rewarding for the immigrant community.
He co-founded Toronto Tax Boutique to put that community first: personal attention on every file, and the maximum refund each client is actually entitled to. For Manav it was never really about taxes. It is about helping people thrive in a new home, the way he did.
