Overview

Personal Tax Return, done properly

Most Canadians overpay tax not because they made a mistake, but because nobody told them what they could claim. A credit missed on line 32300 or an unclaimed provincial rent benefit quietly costs hundreds of dollars a year, every year.

We file your T1 the way a good accountant should: we read every slip, ask about the things people forget, and tell you the price before we start - not after.

Worth knowing
Filing early is worth real money
CRA processing slows sharply through March and April. Clients who send documents in February typically see refunds in about two weeks; the same return sent in mid-April can take twice as long.

Who this is for

6 common cases

If one of these sounds like you, this service is a good fit.

  • Permanent residents and citizens with T4 employment income
  • International students claiming tuition on a T2202
  • Newcomers filing their first Canadian return
  • Couples and families claiming dependants and transferable credits
  • Non-residents with Canadian rental income, deemed residents and seasonal workers
  • Anyone who left Canada during the year, temporarily or permanently

What's included

What you actually get

Nothing appears on the invoice later that was not described here.

  • Unlimited T4 and T5 slips

However many employers or investment accounts you had, it's the same flat fee.

  • Tuition credits

T2202 amounts claimed, carried forward, or transferred to a spouse or parent, whichever leaves you better off.

  • Every provincial benefit

The Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit (formerly the GST/HST credit), plus the rent and property tax credits for your province.

  • Dependants and childcare

Up to two dependants included; childcare receipts applied where they save the most.

  • RRSP and FHSA contributions

Contributions under $1,000 included, and we model whether claiming now or deferring is smarter.

  • Year-round CRA support

If the CRA writes to you in September about the return we filed, we answer it. No extra charge.

The process

How this works

4 steps, from first message to filed.

  1. Step 01

    Tell us your situation

Two minutes on our get-started form. We use it to send the right checklist, because a student's list looks nothing like a landlord's.

  2. Step 02

    Send your documents

Upload or WhatsApp your slips. Nothing to print, nothing to mail, no appointment to book.

  3. Step 03

    We prepare and review

A CPA-led team prepares the return, then checks it against every credit you qualify for before it goes anywhere.

  4. Step 04

    You approve, we file

You see the refund figure and the fee before we submit. We e-file to the CRA and confirm the refund lands.

Questions

Personal Tax Return questions

Straight answers to what people ask us most.

How much does a personal tax return cost?
$88 if you were a student during any part of 2025, and $109 if you had T4 employment income. Quebec returns are $109 and $139. Those are flat fees covering unlimited T4 and T5 slips, tuition, provincial benefits, charitable donations and up to two dependants. Add-ons such as rental property or capital gains are published in full on our pricing page, and 13% HST applies.
How long does it take to get my refund?
Refunds usually arrive about two weeks after filing, depending on CRA processing times. During the March and April peak this stretches out considerably, which is why we push clients to file early.
Do I have to come into an office?
No. We are a fully remote firm and do not take in-person appointments. You send documents securely from your phone or laptop and we handle everything else.
Can you file if I live outside Toronto?
Yes. We file in all ten provinces. Each of our tax experts specialises in specific provinces, so you are matched with someone who knows your province's credits - from Ontario and BC to Alberta and Quebec.
What documents do I need?
We send you a checklist tailored to your situation. Typically: T4 slips, T2202 for students, rent receipts, investment slips (T5, T3, T5008), medical and childcare receipts, RRSP contribution slips, and self-employment records if they apply.
What languages do you work in?
English, Hindi and Punjabi.
